Download CBD Program data | Commercial Building Disclosure

On 28 March 2025 the government assumed a Caretaker role. Information on websites maintained by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water will be published in accordance with the Guidance on Caretaker Conventions until after the conclusion of the caretaker period.

The CBD Downloadable Data Set is a compilation of the entire Building Energy Efficiency Register.

General statistics about the CBD Program

You can contact us for information about:

the number of Building Energy Efficiency Certificates (BEEC) issued per financial year
the number of unique buildings certified per financial year
the average National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) Energy for Offices star rating on all BEECs issued
the average lighting efficiency measure on BEECs issued.
