In April 2020 the CBD Administrator released a special TLA Ruling (the Ruling) to address the issues related to COVID-19 and CBD Program site assessments.

A new version of the Ruling has now been released. Version 3.0 of the Ruling removes the fixed expiry date (formerly 31 August 2021) and introduces a clause stating that the Ruling can be terminated with six weeks’ notice to industry.

Removing the fixed expiry date will provide certainty to building owners, CBD Assessors and the broader industry that any restrictions can be managed and businesses can continue to meet their requirements under the BEED Act.
